  13. Can be accelerated with Newer Technology's Eddy Award winning "PowerClip 604‚Ñ¢", part # 7MC604-B.  The PowerClip has over 100 different speed settings up to 165MHz. Typically  the 8500/132 is set to something between 150MHz and 164MHz. The PowerClip is slotless.

  15. It is important to note that some Apple 256KB Cache DIMMs will prevent the PowerClip 604 from accelerating the 8500/132 beyond 132MHz. There are three solutions to this problem:

  17. A. Most desirable, use Newer Technology‚Äôs high-speed 256KB Cache DIMM, part # 7CC256B.
  18. B. Remove the Apple Cache DIMM and simply run the computer without it. 
  19. C. Least desirable, return the PowerClip.

  21. Can interleave memory for approximately 10-30% faster RAM access.  For the fastest speed, sockets A1 & B1, A2 & B2...A4 & B4 should contain identical capacity DIMMs.
